More Butchering of Poe’s Name

If you’re going to open a bar/restaurant with a Poe theme, wouldn’t it be wise to spell his name correctly?

The Annabel Lee Tavern in Baltimore can’t seem to get it right. And that’s really inexcusable, especially when his name is spelled correctly in some places on its website and incorrectly in others.

The APSEAP has been alerted.

    I had to see it misspelled repeatedly in the Washington Post over 3 decades. I even sent letters to the editor about it. How hard is it to put the name in the style sheet database?
    Poe’s name is misspelled in Anthony Horowitz’s new best-selling novel The House of Silk. The book is full of typos and proofreading errors. Are there no book editors anymore?
