I had a blast reading (aloud) the short assignments of the boot camp grunts at the 2009 Borderlands Boot Camp. The crew was great this year, including: writers Tom Monteleone, F. Paul Wilson, Doug Winter, Mort Castle, and Gary Braunbeck; editors Ginjer Buchanan and Jaime Levine; and friends like Norman Prentiss, Beth Blue, and Paul Lagasse.

I can’t praise the Boot Camp enough—it was pivotal in my writing career and introduced me to some great friends and gifted colleagues. I hope to be back to do the readings next year.
